Job Description
A stem cell culture focused technician position is available to do research on Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The applicant will be able to participate in exciting cell biology & biochemistry studies exploring the pathophysiology of these illnesses, and contribute to the development of novel therapeutic agents. The technician will manage a large collection of induced pluripotent stem cell lines (iPSCs) grown in 2D and 3D cultures. They will have to maintain the cell lines, set up experiments and harvest the experiments. They will also maintain the cleanliness of the cell culture facility.
Required Skills
The applicant must be strongly motivated, able to work independently and possess a strong ability to organize data. In addition, have good interpersonal skills. The applicant must have a bachelors degree and prior laboratory experience.
Candidates CV or resume must state their GPA.
Must have experience in iPSC work OR strong experience in doing cell culture.
